Daniel Webster Birthplace Title

The Daniel Webster Birthplace is associated with the birth and early childhood years of Daniel Webster, one of our country's most respected orators and statesmen. While the site affords a view of the early years of Daniel Webster, it also provides a glimpse of 1700s farm life in the infant years of the United States.

While the park facilities are closed for the season, the park lands are always open for recreation.

New for 2008: All New Hampshire residents are admitted free of charge. Admission is $7 for adults; $3 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under are admitted free.

Picnicking is allowed at the site, and a porta-potty is available. Please note: The Sawyer house is closed to the public.

Are pets allowed at the Daniel Webster Birthplace? Pets are not permitted at state historic sites. See NH State Parks Pets Policy for more information.
